Thanks to a generous old friend, I have the loan of a London flat whilst I spend a week editing my new film. Each morning I pass the leaf blower guy tasked with the IMHO pointless jobs of aggregating the fallen leaves into loose piles on the common land between tower blocks.
By night these bagged leaves appear to position themselves – rest in fact – loosely around and against street furniture.
By the next morning they’re gone.
