Need I say more?

Near our Shack, the local estate have felled much mature woodland lately. One of the instant and glorious side-effects of this carnage is the mass takeover of tens of thousands of foxgloves (Digitalis Purpurea) on the freshly-exposed woodland floor.

Hereford is one of those nice English market towns where farmers slowly drive tractors down the high street to the fury of the speeding boy racers on their tails. There are many things to enjoy there – an eclectic architectural mix including some nice mid-century things, very friendly yokels and (crucial for us at this point) a Kwik Fit.
On our way out I spotted this fabulous town sign picked out in box. I always love these, but this one’s rather odd position in the ‘burbs is notable.
